09/11 PERSONALITY QUIZ DAY 1

I picked the cards that applied to myself firstly and that I thought would create the most interesting work. I chose, messy, scattered and unnatural with each having flip sides of the opposite word. Although these seem like they have negative connotations, personally I've found being messy and scattered helps me come up with ideas for my work even if I try to be the opposite. The unnatural card I thought would help with the environment of my work or subjects. The materials chosen all relate to each card in one way or another but the use of the shopping trolleys creates a relationship between each.

I thoroughly enjoyed the experimentation of working four dimensional without a plan beforehand and the spontaneity of not knowing what would be created. I think this in itself adds to the piece which today I learned in the accidental way of making the piece unlike my usual process of planning and sketching.
The sculpture although relating to my chosen cards wouldn't have had too since these were only a starting point that set off ideas.

For future, across any subjects I can use what I've learnt as a way of knowing that not everything has to be thought of or planned beforehand and that some things could be created on the spot and be just as effective or powerful.
